Paris to Madrid

The next morning we woke up early because my dad wanted us to see the sunrise. so we prayed fajir in the small space between the bunk beds it was very shaky trying to pray.  When finished we went to the cafeteria we all had the same thing, they gave us toast and croissant and fresh fruits. While we were eating breakfast, we saw the sunrise it was so beautiful. I can't believe we were in this train for 14 hours. When we arrived in Madrid, Spain, we got off the train and caught another train that took us to attocha station.   Everyone here spoke Espagnole which is the language that Spanish people speak.  but in France they all spoke french.

In Madrid, it was very sunny and hot.  When we came out of the Metro, there were so many hilly roads. We kept going up and down the hills. There were so many buildings and they were so colourful.   Some were yellow and others were orange or red. Except for the mosque it was a big white magnificent marbled building. When we entered the masjid there was so many ladies cleaning. we ate in the masjid's cafeteria, we had cake and juice my mum and dad had Moroccan tea. and  of course  I had some too, actually I had it all it was so sweet.  After praying salah we had to run to the station to catch our next train AGAIN!!!

Then we jumped on to a train that took us too Algeciras.

It was heading towards my mum and dad's favourite part of the journey. Muslim Spain.

London to Paris

Today the 10th of march 2012 is the day I leave the country I was born in…. London!!!

I woke up early in the morning there was hardly anything in the house. We spent the last few hours packing the last few things and getting ready.  Finally we are off… my dad  dropped us at  the train Station,  then he went to drop the car in front of the house.  When he finally came back , my mum had already  bought the tickets and dropped the luggage off at the train platform.  We all went down to the platform and caught the train to St. Pancras Internationl train station, so we can catch the Eurostar train to Paris.  The trip took two hours.  While I was in the train, I did some  colouring  and had a nap, finally we  arrived !!!

As soon I stepped out of the train it was freezing cold, we caught a taxi to Hotel Jardin des Plantes when we went inside we had a look at our rooms, we all shared double beds, me and Shayma in one room.  Hamza and my dad in one room.  My mum Nidaa and Walaa in one room.  Afterwards me, Shayma, Hamza and my mum went to get cheeseburgers.  We ate and then went to bed. I was soooo tired but Shayma was watching BBC news all night.

The next morning we woke up and Shayma made coffee for herself but I finished it all when she was in the washroom. Hehehehehehahahaha I am so naughty sometimes.
For lunch I had McDonald's, then we went sightseeing and saw the river Seine, the Eiffel tower.  I wanted to climb it so I can see the whole of Paris, but my dad said it will take a long time.  We also went to the the mosque when we went in it was so nice Mashallah in the same place where there mosque there was a huge garden with blue tiles  and trees everywhere we  were all running around except for shayma because she is lazy. we looked a round then we went to pray.

After that we went to the train station to catch the sleepers trains to spain while we were in the station we got a bit hungry so  me ,Hamza and my dad went and got snacks.  when we got back we had crisps. so birds kept coming to us they were so small and cute . Finally the train is here we borded, but it took a long time till the train move. we went to our cabin and this is   what we found, a cabin with 4 seats a how are  7 people going to fit in  it?  well I guess I am going to spain.  After a while a man came and put the bunk beds down and we got ready for bed but it took us a while to fall a sleep.
